High-end brands for products like alcohol and perfume demonstrate every time they launch a new product just how chic glass can be. Either by reinvention or a need to stand out from the competition, they have elevated the craft of designing bottles and its packaging to an art form.
Because we love everything design, we have searched the web for some of the most beautiful bottles on the market, and put them together on this list (also, we have to get away from T-shirts every once in a while).
Whether on the bar shelf or the fridge, these are the bottles getting noticed:
#25 Aqua Carpatica
These try cool black containers contain luxurious water derived from the Banjenaru aquifer, but even if it came from the tap, drinking out of this bottle will make you feel like a monarch.
#24 Belvedere Vodka
Billed as “The World’s First Luxury Vodka”, these sleek bottles certainly express the idea of luxury with every curve — as does their advertising campaign with smooth singer John Legend.
Another water bottle, this style is totally different feel from the black ones above, though. Don’t those ice cubes nearly look like diamonds?
#22 Highland Park
Would you have guessed this whisky is 50 years old? Unless you were a whisky connoisseur, it would be pretty hard to guess judging by its avant-garde packaging — but it does tell you it is expensive!
Cute puns aside, this geometric bottle of honey would make a fine statement piece for a fancy hipster kitchen.
#20 Very unpractical fancy Champagne Bottles
Who knew you could do so many different things with a bottle? Well, that’s sort of the point of this article, but this collection still made our jaws drop.
#19 Samurai Vodka
Is this the aftermath of the club scene in Kill Bill pt. 1? The optical illusion is just too good.
#18 Seryab Water
The Kanye of water bottles.
Each of these bottles is dedicated to a different bodily ailment — oddly enough there isn’t one for hangover. The brand name refers to a remedy that alchemists sought that would supposedly cure all ills.
#16 One Key
It’s gin’s turn to take centre stage with these boxy bottles. Anybody up for a gin tonic?
#15 Noman’s Dark Atlantic Rum
Between the clean lines and the warm colours, this is one great bottle design. They’ve done a few different ones, plus things like flasks, too.
#14 1000 Acres Vodka
Vodka brands have a long history of designing grand, beautiful bottles, but in my personal opinion, this one takes the cake. Rarely do you see such beautiful minimalistic design on an alcoholic beverage. To look at it, it’s almost a zen experience.
#13 Pepsi Raw
This bottle design is timeless, which is ironic considering the drink didn’t stick around for long. Trying to pass soda off as healthy and natural just didn’t resonate with consumers — I wonder why.
#12 Mountain Milk
Sometimes all you need is optimise something that already existed. This updated take on an old-fashioned milk bottle is just new enough to be interesting again.
#11 Coca-Cola Mystic
Created by designer Ivan Navarro, these bottles are supposed to invoke all things mysterious and transparent.
OK, vodka, we get it — you guys definitely have the coolest bottles around. We’re not even at the end of our list and you already won.
#9 Beluga Gold Line Vodka
As we were just saying… this vodka even comes with a small hammer to help remove the wax seal properly.
Said to be the champagne of cognacs, this bottle certainly gives off an air of exclusivity.
#7 Le Chat
If you don’t think cats are cool, you’ll change your mind after checking out these bottles.
#6 Karlsson’s Gold
Are you even surprised to see another vodka on this list? This one hails from Sweden’s Cape Bjäre (no, we don’t know how to pronounce that either).
From the Elqui Valley in Chile, these bottles decidedly give off an air of mystique — and hold the potential to make some incredible Pisco Sours.
#4 High Roller Premium Vodka
This bottle is like a trip to Vegas captured in glass. Are you feeling lucky?
Even though we don’t understand how to keep these bottle standing straight, we still love the design.
#2 Fleur de Lis
Wine is already pretty elegant by itself, but add in this packaging and you’ve got a truly classy combination.
Even though it is a clever visual take on the idea that energy drinks are like fuel for your body, I just don’t know how comfortable I would be to drink from it.
