Printed Shirts Glasgow: Commonwealth Games T-shirts are the perfect way to get into the spirit of the summer games in Scotland second city. Seventy-one Nations and Territories and around two billion citizens will be represented in Glasgow this summer with the games starting tomorrow and running for two weeks until the 6th of August. The Commonwealth Games in Glasgow will be the largest multi-sport event ever held in Scotland with around 4,900 athletes taking part across 17 sports for 261 medal events.
The Queen’s Baton Relay has gathered a huge following across Scotland in the lead up to the games with athletes and celebrities contributing along the way. Susan Boyle took the Baton to Yorkhill Hospital and other notable stops included Hampden Park with Gordan Strachan and a leg of the relay in the hands of highland dancer Abby MacNeil.
The official mascot of the games is Clyde, who looks like an athletic thistle. You can find out more about Clyde’s backstory on the official Glasgow website with narration from Billy Connelly and music from Paolo Nutini.

It would have been great to include a t-shirt from every nation competing for #tshirttuesday but as there are 71 we have chosen a selection of official merchandise t-shirts and some from the home nations. We have also found some pretty interesting official country uniforms that are well worth there spot in the selection.
