Personalised Shirts UK: The London Film and Comic Con returns to Earls Court this weekend, bringing a whole host of special guests from our favourite films and series’ including Star Wars, Doctor Who and Game of Thrones. Along with over 100 stalls showcasing memorabilia from TV and film, there will also be the opportunity to meet the stars with photo shoots, panels and autograph sessions. This #tshirttuesday we celebrate the best of the London Comic Con 2014.
Like many workplaces across the UK the first hour of the day after a new Game of Thrones episode is mostly spent discussing last night’s drama. And there is always one person who happened to miss the episode walking around with earplugs trying to avoid all spoilers. The London Film and Comic Con can boast a number of Game of Thrones stars this year, including British actresses Lena Headey, Ellie Kendrick and Natalie Dormer. The series has developed such a cult following that cool t-shirts are not hard to find and clothing label Black Milk have created a whole line of clothing based on Game of Thrones imagery.
The classic British series Doctor Who will also be well represented at the London Film and Comic Con with Bernard Cribbins and John Hurt amongst the special guests this weekend. Daleks have proved a popular element in Doctor Who t-shirt designs, and it seems the general public are of the opinion that the doctor has unfairly treated them.
In case you have been sat firmly under a rock for the last few months then you will be aware that the next Star Wars instalment is in the making and the London Comic Con will play host to a number of familiar faces including Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia) and Peter Mayhew (Chewie). Like Game of Thrones, there is no shortage of Star Wars t-shirt designs to be found online, both official and unofficial. You might also be aware that Uniqlo are holding a Star Wars t-shirt design competition with a top prize of $10,000.
