Hello Printsomers!

Like every Tuesday, here we are again with the latest episode of our most popular series, #TshirtTuesday! Where we interview up-and-coming personalised T-shirts designers (are you one of them?) and feature their lines.

This time around we bring you Travis and his brand LivingTees. Like many before him, this young marketer one day decided that the corporate job was no longer for him and went on to pursue a more creative living (see what I did there?), but instead of painting, Travis chose T-shirts – and funny T-shirts that is.

I hope you enjoy our latest T-shirt Tuesday:

#TshirtTuesdays – Living Tees

Tell us about you, what’s your name? Where are you from? What do you do?
Travis Colahan, originally from Seattle living in Santa Monica, CA for nearly fifteen years. Background work wise, I used to work doing statistics and digital marketing, but I got tired of the corporate gig and lack of creative ability so I launched LivingTees mid December. I’m excited to be working with top illustrators from Disney and Boston Consulting Group, among many others.

What about your brand? What’s its name? What makes it unique?
The brand’s name is LivingTees (named after my 18 month old daughter Olivia). The quality of the designs are far above what you see on most sites (depending on taste) and the content itself focuses very heavily on satirical/funny designs. Think of the concepts as quick wit humor…something that is hard to find period in life.

If it were a person, what would he/she be like?
I think of it’d be like a hot, sweet, witty girl. More or less a unicorn.

Simplicity is key, describe your brand in three words:
Funny, punny, hunny! Or maybe crazy, sexy, cool..though I think someone may have used that one already?

[content_band bg_color=”#E8F6D2″ border=”all”] [container]Do you have your very own T-shirt brand? Would you like to delegate the production and inventory stuff – for free? ? That’s right, Printsome’s Print on Demand services are free for a limited time. Join now![/container] [/content_band]

For how long have you been selling T-shirts? Any remarkable story you learnt on the way? Any advice for beginners?
As I said, I just launched late last year, but still my advice would be to make a quality product and to do your research on competitor marketing strategies. Most in this sector rely mostly on Facebook, which for many digital marketers is either hit or miss.

Key question, why should people be interested in your brand?
The product and the service stands out. We try to follow up individually whenever possible with our customers. Even though our business is B2C, we want our customers to feel like clients in a B2B service industry. The quality/concept of the product matters to an extreme degree as well. We work with artists from Disney, Jib Jab and Boston Consulting Group, just to name a few. People and product are critical to long term success.

Are you on Social Media? Where can we find you?
You may find me on Instagram @LivingTees, Twitter @LivingTees and Facebook.

Before you go, Travis, let’s do a Rapid Fire round:

Dogs or cats?
Dogs, no question about it.

Apple or PC?
Apple, though they are getting pretty stale.

Football or basketball?
(American) Football — Go Hawks!

Coffee or tea?
Coffee (grew up in Seattle, not much of a question either).

Beach or forest?
Beach, not a mountaineer.

A colour
Black, like a politicians heart.

A place
The birth of my wife, so I could say I was there from the beginning.

A quote:
“Women. They are a complete mystery.” – Stephen Hawking.

Print on Demand

Here at Printsome, we’ve always supported creative endeavours which is why we’re proud to announce our brand new ‘print on demand’ service.

Thanks to our five years of experience in the apparel-printing industry, we were able to design a platform catered towards the needs of artists and designers who want to start their own T-shirt line. Printsome’s ‘Print on demand’ service has no minimum orders and can print any design with no colour limitations.

From the moment you connect your online shop (like Shopify) with our platform, anyone can buy one of your designs. We deliver all over the UK and Europe. Drop shipping has never been this easy.

Why worry about inventory or logistics when we can take care of that? We deal with the boring stuff so you have more time to do what you love. To find out more, simply visit our brand new website by clicking on the banner below.
